What is GiantLists?
We love lists, but really felt the world didn't need to read another list of someone's top 100 movies. We wanted to compile different kinds of lists because we were so sick of all the common, consumption-driven lists everyone was trying to push on us. We felt that no one needed to read any more about albums they hadn't heard, books they hadn't read, or movies they hadn't seen. People are constantly trying to tell you their favorite things you MUST consume before you die, but we won't. We think it's a lot pressure to be required to do anything before you die, especially seeing a movie.
Enjoy, No Assembly Required
We sincerely hope you'll enjoy your time here, since compiling these lists took us hours of back breaking work. Sure, it wasn't exactly manual labor in the actual sense of the word, but it was somewhat related. We did use our hands to input all these amazingly entertaining lists, which amounted to a lot of figurative back breaking.
In this "web 2.0" world we think that counts for something. Unlike every other new site you'll find these days, you aren't responsible for creating any of the content yourself. Of course, should you be a glutton for punishment, please feel free to visit the Submit page and contribute. We can't guarantee we'll put up everything you send us (although there certainly is a reasonably good chance), but we can guarantee we'll laugh at you... in the good way... maybe.

Good question with a simple solution: any way you want. We've conveniently broken the lists down into categories to give you some sort of direction. After that, it's a bit of a free for all.
